Hendrix College was established in the year 1876. It has been offering quality education for over a period of a century. The religious affiliation of the college is United Methodist. The semester system is followed by the college administration and the student strength is about 1,088. A variety of online courses are available to the students who are studying online. The college charges reasonable tuition fees from the students. Scholarships are available to meritorious students who cannot afford higher studies.
The student services provided by Hendrix College includes Remedial learning services, Basic services and Counseling services. Hendrix College has a library within the campus and it accommodates approximately 222,180 books, backfiles and many more study materials. The students are greatly helped by it and they are very much profited by availing the services of the college library. Both practical and theoretical knowledge are gained by visiting the library. There are 10 computers to facilitate the needs and requirements of the students.
Computer resources are adequate and sufficient. A total of 75 computers are provided to the students who choose the computer facility. The Computer Center is of great use to the students. Access to the Internet is provided to all students. Online students are also profited by it. Residence halls and laboratories are other services offered to the students. The laboratories have state of the art facilities and services. Students of various disciplines, specially those having lab based subjects, make use of these college laboratories.
